Paws and Whiskers is a book about cute cats and delightful dogs. There are several stories in this WHOLE book. The reason why I picked this book is because the cover looked attractive and it had a cat in a thinking bubble which made me curious. The author of my favourite book is Jacqueline Wilson.
I was eager to read this book. What was REALLY clever was that there was more than one story in the book so it wasn’t just staying on the same subject. Although this is my favourite book the part I didn’t like was when it changed straight away to dog stories rather than gradually building up to the dog stories.
I would recommend it to 7-13 year old children since they are the people that might like stories about cuddly cats and adorable dogs; it won’t be too exciting for them!
